Saiber LLC Expands Business Services And Employment Practices

Longtime NJBIA member Saiber LLC on Tuesday announced the addition of Marc D. Freedman as member and Steven M. Friedland as counsel in a move that reinforces the Florham Park law company’s Business Services and Employment practices.

This strategic expansion reflects Saiber’s dedication to strengthening its corporate and M&An abilities, with a specific concentrate on industry-specific services for clients in the staffing sector and beyond.

Both attorneys join Saiber from the boutique company Freedman & Friedland LLC of Hasbrouck Heights, bringing years of experience in corporate and employment law, especially within the staffing industry.

Freedman, a seasoned corporate lawyer, joins the company’s Business Services group as a member. With a substantial background in work and law and mergers & acquisitions, he brings deep knowledge of the legal and business issues affecting staffing business and other industries.

He formerly acted as general counsel and senior executive officer for among the largest public companies in the temporary work sector. His wide-ranging experience consists of corporate acquisitions, securities compliance, labor relations, defending companies in discrimination matters and class actions, restrictive covenant litigation, threat management, and tactical consulting for senior executives.

Freedman is presently general counsel to the New Jersey Staffing Alliance and previously served in comparable functions with national staffing associations.

Friedland will sign up with the company as counsel in the Litigation practice group. With a focus on work law and lawsuits, he brings over 2 decades of experience protecting companies in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour matters before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, in addition to representing companies in commercial lawsuits.

He also regularly counsels clients on everyday office matters and drafts different agreements, policies, and compliance products. Previously, Friedland practiced employment and labor law at 2 firms with a nationwide existence.
